"Cherry Soda Collage" on Instagram!

I have very exciting news to share with you all today!

I recently came up with a great idea. I was thinking about other ways of promoting my Dolphin Princess book series; and this got me thinking about people's initial reactions to my books--a lot of people liked the cover art.
I remember writing in one of my Vocal articles that collage was a catalyst to actually creating front covers to my books (I'll leave a link to the article below). But then, it dawned on me: collage. That was something that I was passionate about, besides writing.

So, how did all this lead me to Instagram?

I'm usually sharing pics of my creations on social media, and how people would LIKE and comment on my creations. And plus, a lot of businesses utilize Instagram to promote their stuff. So, I decided to try it out.

But wait, Veronica! How did you come up with the name "Cherry Soda Collage"?

Good question! : )

What happened was that I was sitting in my room today, thinking about how was going to bring this idea to life. I knew what topic I wanted my Instagram to be, but I still needed a name. I was sitting and sipping on a can of Cherry Coke (my go-to drink), thinking about all this. And then, it hit me: I always had a Cherry Coke with me, while I write or do creative hobbies.

So, I wanted to have the soda as part of the name; however, I had to consider changes, such as changing "Cherry Coke" to "Cherry Soda," because "Cherry Coke" was trademarked, and "Cherry Soda" is more general. But either way, I had a great title for my Instagram.

And that was how "Cherry Soda Collage" stuck.

I've already started posting on "Cherry Soda Collage"; and I hope to go even further with my Instagram, because collage-making is such a wonderful hobby, and I incorporate it with my writing and publishing.
