Scheduling my Writing PART 2

I didn't expect this blog post "Scheduling my Writing" to be a two-parter, but I had recently thought of something.

(from Aug. 23, 2018 at UIW's Student Engagement Center)

I've been doing some reflecting lately. The big question in my life right now is this: What am I going to do with my life?
It seems like everyone else around me already have their lives established... but what about me?
There's a part of me that keeps nagging me: Get a job... Get a job... Get a job. All I can say is that I tried. I tried to get a job, but I get turned away by employers. I know what it's like to spend a year unemployed (and yes, I'm reliving that, because I had quit my substitute teaching job back in April 2018). Employers would see me as a complicated case, because sure, I may have both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of English, but that won't serve you well, unless the job has to do with writing. And as far as working just any job? That won't work either, because I've had my share of bad jobs (ex. working at a movie theater, cashiering, and subbing a bunch of kids who don't know what's good for them). So all I have to say is this: It's complicated, and I've been frustrated.

All I'm doing right now is doing my online tutoring, writing my next book, and writing on this blog (by the way, I finally got ads on this blog, so I'll be making some ad revenue eventually). But now... I guess my problem is figuring out what to do with my time.

So, I decided to put together a schedule, which has the following things:
1. online tutoring
2. writing (whether on the blog, or with my book)
3. brainstorming topics for the blog
4. drawing/art (either for my book, or for something to have)
This is to help me organize my time as both a writer and a blogger. That's my only occupation right now, besides the online tutoring.
Hopefully, things change, and I get to have another job to go along with my online tutoring. I'm just saying that I'm trying to stay positive throughout all these ups and downs in my life right now. Fingers crossed!
